We are happy to announce that UTWSD’s President Mikaiil Hussein has been asked to speak at Cornell University’s 11th Annual Industrial and Labor Relations Roundtable! Cornell University is a prestigious ivy league University located in Ithaca NY.  At the 2013 ILR Roundtable students will have the opportunity to engage in roundtable discussions with representatives from labor unions and social justice nonprofits.

Mikaiil will be traveling to Cornell University on November 15th to share the struggles and victories of taxi drivers here in San Diego and our campaign for a better San Diego taxi industry.  What a great honor to spread the word about San Diego taxi drivers to our brothers and sisters on the East Coast!
